Cohousing Projects is a licensed cooperative company with an open shareholding. That is a considered choice. We want to work together to create a better world. The participation that we consider so important in our projects is reflected in our corporate structure.
In addition to an attractive financial return, our shareholders also strive for social added value. All our shareholders have one vote, regardless of the number of shares they represent. At our annual general meeting, they help determine our priorities.
With our capital we invest in land, buildings and rental homes so that young cohousing groups get the wind in the sails. We also assist them financially, legally and in terms of organisation. A good example is cohousing Papiermoleken in Bierbeek. The value of one share currently amounts to EUR 270. By buying one share you help us to move forward, but the more capital we acquire, the more active we can become. We want to do this in a commercially sustainable way, without extreme profits, but with a fair return for the shareholders. As a licensed cooperative, we aim for a dividend yield of 4% per annum. Please note: investing in shares means participating without a guarantee of profit. We only pay out a dividend when profit is made. Annual General Meeting: the last Friday of April.
