• Examples of cohousing projects from around the world
• Lessons learned from the lived experience of Cohousing

Lunch (12 – 1:30PM)

Afternoon Project Consult (optional) (1:30PM – 4PM):

Discuss a specific cohousing project directly with Grace.  This could be an already built project, a project of which the design is currently being done, or a future project.  Bring your plan to the table. (30 minute max per project).

Price: 125€ (including lunch) + 50€ (for the afternoon workshop)

About Grace Kim

Grace H. Kim, FAIA (she/her) is a founding principal of Schemata Workshop from Seattle.

Grace is an internationally recognized architect expert in Cohousing. For four years, Grace served on the board of the Cohousing Association of the US. She chaired the National Conference in 2009 and 2019, as well as organizing an International Cohousing Summit in 2009 and 2021. Grace currently serves on their Professional Advisory Council.

In 2017, Grace was invited to give a TED Talk of cohousing – and how it can result in longevity of life. This celebrated TED Talk has been viewed by more than 3M people worldwide.

Grace has visited almost 100 cohousing communities in Denmark, US, Canada, and South Korea.

She is also a founding member of Capitol Hill Urban Cohousing, where she lives wit her husband and teenager.
